It's difficult to keep up with the many changes in the rapidly developing communication
system in Mexico. Please note the following recent changes:
Calls within Mexico for Tijuana and Rosarito are now made by adding the following
numbers to make them into seven digit phone numbers:
· Locally within Tijuana add a 6 at the front of the 6 digit existing number.
· Locally within Rosarito add 61 at the front of the 5 digit existing number. When calling
Baja California, Mexico from the United States, follow this sequence: 001-(Out of
country code) 52-(Mexico code) City code-such as 66 for Tijuana or 661 for Rosarito
5-6 digit local number.
