Baja4You By Roberta Giesea
I found the book to be the best "How To" book
about Baja that I have read. It deals very well with FAQs (frequently
asked questions) and quotes some of my favorite authors. Ms. Giesea
is a relative newcomer to Baja but has covered the majority of questions
that a newcomer might ask or actually might not ask for lack of knowing
enough about Baja to start with...this book could reasonably keep
you from suffering the extremes of Baja-itis and result in all of
your Baja experiences being pleasant. . .as most are in any case.

A valuable traveling
companion
If you're relocating to Baja California, or just planning a trip to
explore this fascinating part of the world, be sure to look at this
book first. It's a valuable traveling companion because it is both
a handy reference tool and a good read, full of anecdotal information
gathered from years of familiarity with the region and its people.
The writing style is straightward and clear. The contents are organized
into easily handled sections to aid one's understanding of what it
is like to live and travel in Baja, and to appreciate the culture
and ecology of this wonderful country. You'll find contact numbers
for services, places to go, events to see, and things to do, and more
importantly things not to do when living or visiting a foreign land.
This new publication is
definitely one of the books any Baja aficiondo, or wannabe, should
consider.
